The Exposure Layer provides a rapid view of a catastrophic event, detailing exactly what happened, where and when. This layer is published within 24 hours of the event taking place and indicates the most severely damaged areas based on early available data sources. The MIS Damage Assessment is shown as an overlay separate to other data sources such as wind speeds.
Each event is accompanied by a series of text reports that are bespoke to the event and provide additional context users to understand exactly what has happened.
All event reports feature downloadable data, including vector data in different formats such as ESRI shapefile, KML, and GeoJSON for graphical data and as a CSV file for raw data.
