Some perils don't happen as single discrete events — they accumulate over a season. Year Long Reports track these ongoing, season-wide threats on GEO, updated throughout the year as new activity occurs.

What Year Long Reports cover
Year Long Reports are used for perils where activity builds continuously across weeks or months rather than peaking in a single event. The primary example is US Wildfires, which tracks all significant wildfire activity across the continental United States throughout the fire season.
Rather than a separate event for each individual fire, a Year Long Report consolidates the season's activity into one place. You can see the cumulative footprint, compare activity across different periods, and assess your portfolio against the full season's exposure in a single report.
How they're updated
Year Long Reports are updated bi-weekly or monthly, depending on the pace of activity. Each update adds new fire perimeters, damage assessments, or intensity data as it becomes available from MIS analysts and source data providers.
Finding Year Long Reports
Year Long Reports appear on the GEO homepage alongside individual event reports. Look for the report name in the events panel — Year Long Reports are labelled clearly by peril and year (for example, "US Wildfires 2026").
You can also find them using the search bar or by filtering the events panel by event type.
